SUNDAY 29TH DECEMBER

WHAT A START!!!!! A great night’s sleep for all meant the vast majority of students were actually early for breakfast. After croissants, pain au chocolate and much more the whole party was very quickly ready for the first ski lesson.

The conditions are superb with great snow and beautiful sun and all students have been brilliant this morning, making great progress. Currently all are getting ready for the afternoon session and these students say:

“I love Serre Chevalier!” Says Bea Kelly

“The “drink of the day” is amazing.” Says Lucy Towle

“The food is yummy.” Says Harry Harvard-Taylor

UPDATE!

An excellent afternoon’s skiing again under blue skies and no wind conditions. The instructors have been highly impressed by the attitude of all the students regardless of ability level.

Tonight the activity is bumboarding and we have over forty students keen to take part in this strange activity! This takes place just a stone’s throw from the hotel followed by hot chocolate. More photos of this will follow tomorrow.

We have also given our first awards this evening for effort and resilience. This includes the globally recognised “Marmie Award”...
